TYLER BUSER
Welcome to my portfolio. Here you’ll find the work I’ve done over the last few years. I’ve had the pleasure to call several studios home and have shipped a wide range of games from AAA to F2P, such as Gears 5, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Hawken, and Rage.
While I’ve worked as a professional level designer since 2010, I first fell in love with mapping at the ripe at of 12 years old. I begged my parents for a level editor for Quake in 1996 and the rest is history. Since then, I’ve worked on mod teams and individually on franchises such as Quake, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Half-Life, Unreal Tournament 3, Gears of War, and Fallout 3.

I graduated from Illinois State University, interned at the Cato Institute, and earned a Masters from The Guildhall at Southern Methodist University. I love traveling, reading paperbacks (Heinlein, Crichton, and Asimov are favorites), late night gaming sessions, learning, listening to songs on repeat, and driving with the windows down.
I hope you enjoy viewing my portfolio. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like any additional information.
